This policy explains how personal data is handled on the RSE, Ramp Simulator Engine, website. It covers this presentation website and the resulting correspondence, not training data processed within the simulator.

For questions or requests concerning your data: contact@mindshift.lu.
2. Data and purposes
Contact and demo requests
The form asks for your name, work email and organisation. Your role and message are optional. We use these details to respond, arrange a demo and follow up on our professional correspondence. Please do not include sensitive data or confidential information about other people.
Your entries remain in your browser until submission. When you submit the form, the fields are sent to our hosting infrastructure and then by email to contact@mindshift.lu. No external form service is used and this site does not create a database of enquiries. Visiting the site does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
We process your enquiry based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Operation and security
Viewing this website sends technical data to its hosting infrastructure: IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser information and, depending on your settings, the referring page. This allows pages to be delivered, errors diagnosed and abuse prevented. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website.
Display preferences
Remembering your language and day/night theme between visits is optional and based on your consent. The site remains usable if you reject this storage. We do not embed audience analytics, advertising pixels or commercial profiling.
3. Cookies and local storage
This website uses your browser’s local storage for the items below. This differs from a cookie, but the same privacy choices apply to optional preferences.
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
rse-consent-v1 | Acceptance or rejection, date and expiry. Necessary to respect your choice. | 6 months |
rse-langrse-theme | Language and theme, only after acceptance. | Until withdrawal or choice expiry, at most 6 months |
When you return after expiry, expired values are removed and you are asked again. Rejection is remembered for as long as acceptance. These values stay on your device and are not sent to a server by this website.
You may change your cookie preferences at any time. Rejecting after accepting removes the saved preferences. You may also clear this site’s data in your browser. Your choice applies to the browser and device you are using.
4. Recipients and transfers
Your messages are available to authorised people at Mindshift and providers needed for hosting, email and security, only as necessary for their tasks. We do not sell your data. Information may be disclosed to an authority when legally required or to defend our rights.
Email routing also depends on your own email provider. Where a Mindshift provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must be covered by an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request details of the information and safeguards applicable to your correspondence.
5. Retention
Enquiries and correspondence are kept for the time needed to handle them and carry out the professional follow-up you requested. Once that follow-up ends, they are deleted unless retention is required by law or needed as evidence during the applicable limitation period. Records relating to a contractual relationship follow the obligations applicable to that relationship.
Form protection temporarily uses a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address, counters and security tokens, without storing message content. The rate-limit window is 15 minutes; files inactive for more than an hour are removed on the next request to the form endpoint.
Technical logs are kept for the period needed to diagnose, prevent or investigate an incident and meet any legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised. Browser storage periods are specified above.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, data portability. You may withdraw consent to optional preferences at any time; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
Send requests to contact@mindshift.lu, stating what you would like us to do. We only request proof of identity where necessary to avoid disclosing your data to someone else. We normally respond within one month and explain any permitted extension.
You may complain to the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD), Luxembourg, or the competent authority where you live, work or where the alleged infringement took place.
7. Security, links and updates
We limit access to people who need it and use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. No transmission or storage method is completely risk-free. External links lead to sites governed by their own policies.
RSE serves a professional audience. This site does not provide for collecting children’s data or automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you. This policy will be updated if features or processing change; the revision date appears at the top of this page.
